The Osceola Code/Zoning Department employee is responsible for issuing permits such as Building, Improvement Location, Noise and Restaurant to name a few. The Department is also responsible for answering code and zoning inquiries, while working closely with the Area Plan Commission on zoning matters. The Code Enforcer also issues letters and citations when there are problems with properties not complying with the Town Code to try and ensure that properties in Town are kept to the standards that citizens expect.
